Lately, I’ve been hearing this so clearly in my spirit: God cannot lie — and I am not to be discouraged.
I know this isn’t just for me. I know there are so many of you walking through seasons where you’re believing God, showing up, being obedient, and still wondering when you’re going to see the fruit of it all.
If that’s you, let me remind you of something that heaven has already settled.
God Cannot Lie
Scripture tells us plainly that God is not a man that He should lie. When God speaks a promise over your life, your family, your calling, or your business, He is not guessing. He is not hoping it works out. He is not waiting to see if circumstances line up.
He already knows the outcome.
What He has spoken is true — even when what you see doesn’t agree yet.
Discouragement Is Not a Sign You’re Off Track
One thing I’ve learned is that discouragement doesn’t always mean you’re doing something wrong. Often, it means you’re doing something right — and the pressure comes because the enemy wants you to quit before the breakthrough shows up.
Discouragement tries to make you question:
-
Did I really hear God?
-
Am I wasting my time?
-
Should I give up?
But faith asks a different question:
What did God say?
Because if God said it, it doesn’t expire just because the wait feels long.
Delay Is Not Denial
Waiting can feel heavy. Silence can feel loud. But delay does not mean denial, and quiet seasons do not mean God is absent.
Some of the most important work God does happens where no one can see it — in the roots, in the soil, in your character, in your trust.
Before public fruit, there is always private strengthening.
Obedience Over Outcome
God has been reminding me that He rewards obedience, not platforms. He honors faithfulness, not numbers. He sees the late nights, the prayers whispered through tears, the moments you kept going when quitting would’ve been easier.
If you are being obedient — even in the small, unseen places — you are exactly where you need to be.
Small beginnings are not overlooked by God. They are often how He builds something lasting.
Hold Fast
The Bible tells us to hold fast to hope without wavering, because He who promised is faithful.
Not “might be.”
Not “eventually if everything lines up.”
Faithful. Always.
So if you’re feeling weary today, let this be your reminder:
-
You are not forgotten
-
You are not behind
-
You did not imagine His promise
God cannot lie.
And what He started in you, He is faithful to complete.
A Final Word
If discouragement has been knocking on your door, you don’t have to let it stay.
Speak truth over your life.
Stand on what God said.
And trust that even now — especially now — He is working in ways you cannot see.
You are not alone in this season.
And your story isn’t over yet. Today I hope this word touched your heart and encouraged you to keep going and never give up. God has a plan!
