God Is Good: More Than Words, It's Our Testimony
Oh, taste and see that the Lord is good; blessed is the one who takes refuge in Him."— Psalm 34:8 (NIV)
There are some messages that never grow old.
God is good.
Three simple words that have carried us through some of the hardest seasons of our lives.
When I look at this design, I don't just see a children's outfit. I see a reminder of God's faithfulness.
There have been seasons when I didn't understand what God was doing. Seasons of waiting, heartbreak, disappointment, and prayers that seemed unanswered. There were moments when I wondered how everything would come together.
Yet through it all, God never left.
He provided when I couldn't see a way.
He gave strength when mine was gone.
He brought peace in the middle of the storm.
Looking back now, I can see that His hand was guiding every step—even when I couldn't recognize it in the moment.
That's what this design means to me.
Not that life has always been easy.
Not that every chapter has been free from pain.
But that God has remained good through every single one of them.
His goodness isn't based on our circumstances. His goodness is part of who He is.
A Reminder for the Next Generation
Children are growing up in a world filled with uncertainty. Every day they're hearing messages about fear, comparison, and finding their worth in what the world thinks of them.
What if we reminded them of something greater?
What if one of the first truths hidden in their hearts was simply this:
"God is good."
Not just when life feels easy.
Not just when prayers are answered the way we hoped.
Always.
As parents, grandparents, and caregivers, we have the incredible privilege of planting seeds of faith that can last a lifetime. Sometimes those seeds are planted around the dinner table. Sometimes they're planted during bedtime prayers.
And sometimes they're planted through the simple things that surround our children every day.
Why This Matters
At Small Beginnings Boutique, we believe what we offer should reflect what we believe.
Our hope has never been to simply provide beautiful clothing.
Our prayer is that every piece points to something eternal.
That families are encouraged.
That conversations about Jesus begin naturally.
That children grow up knowing they are deeply loved by God and that His goodness will follow them all the days of their lives.
As Psalm 23:6 reminds us:
"Surely your goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever."
What a promise to speak over our children.
From Our Heart to Yours
If this outfit reminds even one child—or one family—that God is faithful, then it has already fulfilled a purpose far greater than clothing ever could.
